Kevin Rutledge

Kevin Rutledge is the principal of Calm Seas Retirement Services, a financial services company located in southern New Jersey, and serves as an investment adviser representative for his clients since 2017. Drawing on over 20 years of management and financial experience, he regularly speaks on financial matters, including Social Security benefits and retirement planning.
When Kevin started his career, he primarily concentrated on Social Security, Medicare, and retirement planning services but saw a real need for a more comprehensive approach. He has since expanded his practice to cover virtually every financial, legacy planning, and insurance need a family or business may experience.
Kevin believes that every client has their own unique needs and goals, and he takes a relaxed approach to learning what those entail to create the ideal plan. As a manager and a coach, Kevin believes in seeking to first understand his clients’ experiences and desires and then working with them to create a comprehensive plan designed to help clients pursue their individual financial goals and objectives.
Using the most up-to-date financial software helps take the emotion out of investment decisions for clients and helps create a living, adjustable retirement plan.

If needed, Kevin may refer you to local accountants and estate planning attorneys – through his strategic partnerships – to help coordinate and collaborate, with proper authorization, in designing a comprehensive financial plan to help clients reach their financial goals and objectives.
Kevin was born and raised in Ireland and now lives in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, with his wife Susanne and their daughters Anne and Sarah. They enjoy watching their daughters’ sporting endeavors and getting together with family in Pennsylvania, Florida, and Ireland.
